Ondo is a state in southwestern Nigeria, with a tropical climate that brings heavy rains from April to October and a dry season perfect for exploring from November to March. It's famous for its Atlantic coastline along the Bight of Benin, where you can visit the serene beaches of Igbokoda, and for the ancient Idanre Hills, a 3,000-foot granite formation with prehistoric cave paintings.
